Gowin UART MASTER

Introduction
The Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter, commonly referred to as the UART, is an asynchronous transceiver. Gowin UART Master IP is a UART Master controller with synchronous SRAM interface, and connects standard RS-232 interface. Data is converted between serial communication and parallel communication. The Gowin UART Slave referenece design has rx and tx functions to verify the communication with the UART Master.

  • Supports 5-bit, 6-bit, 7-bit or 8-bit data.
  • Supports odd parity, even parity or no parity.
  • Supports 1-bit, 1.5-bit or 2-bit stop.
  • Built-in baud rate generator.
  • Supports modem control.
  • A tx and rx FIFO with a depth of 16 bytes

 

Gowin UART Slave

Gowin UART Slave has the rx and tx function.

  • Supports 5-bit, 6-bit, 7-bit or 8-bit data.
  • Supports odd parity, even parity or no parity.
  • Supports 1-bit, 1.5-bit or 2-bit stop.
