Gowin Serial RapidIO
IP Introduction
The Gowin Serial RapidIO IP Solution consists of Physical, Buffer and Logical Layer designed to the RapidIO v2.1 spec. The RapidIO Interconnect is an open standard developed by the RapidIO Trade Association. It is a high-performance packet-switched interconnect technology designed to pass data and control information between microprocessors, digital signal processors (DSPs), communications and network processors, system memories, and peripheral devices.

- Support NREAD, NWRITE, NWRITE_R, SWRITE, Response, MESSAGE, DOORBELL, Atomic, Maintenance transaction operations.
- Arbiter optional, Supports fixed priority and round robin.
- Transport layer:
- Supports 8bit and 16bit Device IDs.
- Physical layer:
- Support for Receiver Flow Control.
- Support IDLE1.
- Supports 1x/2x/4x modes.
- Buffer depth available on 8/16/32.
- Support dynamic release of packet buffer resources.
- Support packet retransmission recovery.
- Support packet error recovery.
- Supports speeds of 1.25G, 2.5G, 3.125G, 5G.
